EP35 LGBTQ Couples In Comics

The perception at large of queer people and their relationships have changed rapidly in the last 50 years since the Stonewall Riots, and nowhere is this more stark than the pages of comic book fiction. From “the love that dare not speak its name” to the clarion call of “Love is Love,” public acceptance of queer romance has transformed from snickering innuendo to the proud power couple. Being that it’s still Pride month, we thought we’d celebrate by talking generally about queer couples in comics and spotlighting some of our favorite LGBTQ+ relationships!
